In-School STEM Programs

In-School STEM Programs

Bring the makerspace to your students.

Make hands-on STEM part of your classroom or school event without arranging a trip. Guild Hall brings practical projects and the people to guide them into your space, giving students a chance to build, code and investigate together in a familiar setting.

Grades K–12 · Delivered at your site · Workshops, school events & multi-week programs

An instructor helping learners connect robot electronics
Guided projects connect an explanation to something learners can try.

Your classroom. New possibilities.

A practical partner for the unit you want to teach.

Use an in-school program to enrich a current unit, introduce a new discipline or create a focused STEM day. We bring the equipment, materials and instruction for the agreed activities. Together, we work out how the program fits your timetable, room and student groups, so the technology serves the learning goal.

Robotics & engineering

Connect physical systems to questions students can investigate. Build challenges create opportunities to compare approaches, test a prediction and revise a solution.

Coding & game design

Give computational thinking a visible result. Students can explore how instructions, rules and design choices change what a digital project does.

Classroom sessions & school events

Plan a single workshop, a specials rotation or a sequence of sessions. For STEM nights, school fairs and career days, we can create staffed activity stations and demonstrations around robotics, drones, engineering, coding and 3D printing. We agree the activities, visitor flow and staffing around your space, attendance and goals.

The value for your school

More access to meaningful making.

Bringing the experience on campus gives schools another way to reach students who might not otherwise visit a makerspace. A shared challenge can invite different strengths into the room: careful observation, inventive design, clear communication and the persistence to try again.

From first conversation to program day.

  1. Tell us your grades, learning goals, group sizes and preferred schedule.
  2. Discuss room layout, power, connectivity and any equipment or student support needs.
  3. Confirm the activities, rotations, staffing responsibilities and program quote.

Questions from school teams.

Can you run a STEM night or school fair?

Yes. In-School STEM includes one-time school events, family STEM nights, career days and showcases. Share your audience, attendance, venue and schedule so we can plan suitable staffed stations, demonstrations, setup and participation time.

Does ‘remote’ mean an online class?

This program brings Guild Hall to your physical site. It is our mobile, in-school service. If you need virtual delivery, ask the team about options for your specific goals.

Do we need our own robotics kits?

We provide the equipment and materials for the agreed program. If you want to use equipment you already own, share an inventory so we can discuss it during planning.

Can we book a series instead of one visit?

Yes. One-day and multi-week formats are available to discuss. A series gives students opportunities to revisit skills and take projects further.

What does the school need to provide?

Provide a suitable space and work with us on scheduling, school staff responsibilities and learner needs. Any power, internet, setup or room requirements are confirmed for your activities.

Tell us what you want this experience to make possible.

Start with your audience, goals and preferred dates. We’ll help you choose a practical format and confirm the scope, availability and cost.
