Library STEAM Programs

Give your community a new way to explore.

Bring the spirit of discovery into a hands-on program. Guild Hall helps libraries introduce robotics, engineering and creative technology through activities that invite patrons to investigate, ask questions and participate together.

Make discovery part of the collection

A meaningful program without building a makerspace from scratch.

Our mobile offering brings curriculum, equipment and instructors to libraries and community venues. Start with the age group and the kind of experience you want to offer. We help connect an engaging theme to a practical plan for your room, program length and expected attendance.

Technology with a purpose

Explore a robotics, engineering or design theme through a task patrons can engage with. The tools support a question or creative goal.

Guided participation

Instructors help learners get started and work through the activity. Discuss the balance of instruction, exploration and demonstration that fits your audience.

A format for your space

Plan around the room and time you have. Share whether you need a registered workshop or an event-style experience so we can discuss a suitable arrangement.

The value for your group

An invitation to discover an interest.

A library program can be someone’s first opportunity to work with a new tool or try a technical idea. A welcoming challenge gives curiosity somewhere to go and provides a shared experience your community can talk about afterward.

From first conversation to program day.

  1. Tell us the patron age range, goals, dates and expected attendance.
  2. Discuss your room, registration approach and any access or support needs.
  3. Confirm the theme, equipment, staffing responsibilities and program quote.

Questions from group organizers.

Does the library need its own equipment?

Guild Hall brings equipment for the agreed mobile program. If you want to use existing library tools, share what you have so we can discuss compatibility and scope.

Can you work with mixed ages?

Share the anticipated age range and whether adults will participate. We can discuss grouping and activity choices that fit the audience.

Can this be a drop-in event?

Tell us the format you have in mind. Drop-in flow, capacity and the time needed for each activity must be agreed; some projects are better suited to a registered group.

How do we choose a theme?

Start with patron interests and your programming goals. We can discuss robotics, engineering, design and other available mobile activities.

Tell us what you want this experience to make possible.

Start with your audience, goals and preferred dates. We’ll help you choose a practical format and confirm the scope, availability and cost.
