Game Nights

Game Nights at Guild Hall

A shared adventure starts around the table.

Sometimes the best part of a game is who you play it with. Guild Hall game nights give young people a way to connect around shared interests, enjoy the studio community and spend time with others who get excited about the same things.

Find their people

More than another evening playing alone.

Game nights offer a social way into Guild Hall. The emphasis is on enjoying an experience together: talking through a move, sharing an imaginative moment and getting to know other players. Check the specific event for the games, technology and format on offer; the studio’s wider interests include tabletop play, games and VR.

A reason to join in

A shared game provides a natural starting point for conversation. Kids can connect through an interest before having to find something to talk about.

Imagination with company

Games create space for strategy, creative thinking and shared discoveries. The enjoyment comes from participating with other people, as well as from the game itself.

A connection to the studio

For current makers and families getting to know Guild Hall, a social event offers another way to explore the community between projects, memberships and camps.

Why it matters for your child

Belonging matters, too.

If your child loves games or technology, it helps to have a place where that enthusiasm can become a shared experience. Game nights make room for the social side of those interests. Ask about the next event and its group before choosing a first visit.

Your next steps

  1. Ask about the next game night and the planned activities.
  2. Confirm the age group, location, cost and arrival or pickup arrangements.
  3. Follow the event’s registration instructions and join the fun.

A few things parents ask.

Is there a game night every Friday?

Check current events or contact the team for the next confirmed date. The Friday Game Nights program name does not mean a session is scheduled every week.

Which games will be available?

The lineup depends on the event. Ask about tabletop games, video games or VR before registering if a particular activity matters to your child.

Can my child come without a friend?

Tell the team it will be your child’s first visit and ask about the group and format. We can help you understand whether the upcoming event is a good fit.

What do parents need to arrange?

Confirm age eligibility, registration, event length and supervision or pickup arrangements for the specific evening. Check whether any equipment or refreshments are needed.
