Future-Proof: The Skills You'll Need in the Age of AI

Why collaboration, creative problem solving, technical literacy, and adaptability matter as AI changes work.

By David Martelli

The most future-ready learners are not the ones who memorize the most facts. They are the ones who can ask better questions, learn new tools quickly, work with others, and keep moving when a project gets messy.

Guild Hall programs are built around those habits. Robotics, coding, fabrication, game design, drones, and engineering all give students a reason to practice problem solving in the open. They see what works, what breaks, and what needs a better idea.

As AI becomes more common, these human skills become more valuable. Students need technical literacy, but they also need judgment, persistence, communication, and the confidence to build something that did not exist before.
